Hello everyone! It’s been a bit since we sent out an update, and to begin with, I want to thank you for your patience while we’ve gotten everything organized with Backerkit and the Backerkit Survey. You're all great.
You’ll find now that the survey has been sent to each and every one of you. We believe we ironed out all the kinks beforehand, but please let us know if there’s anything we missed, and we will labor to respond to all of your inquiries as soon as we can.
In response to a question we have already received, please keep in mind that the UNICO AWAKENING (ユニコ: 目覚めのおはなし：版の本) choice is for the digital manga, while the UNICO AWAKENING SOFTCOVER MANGA (ユニコ: 目覚めのおはなし：版の本) choice is for the softcover manga. Everyone who pledged for a softcover manga will receive the digital copy as well, which is why we are making sure to ask for your language preference for each.
As we move forward, we’ll continue to send out monthly updates on progress with the project, and will reach out to those of you who pledged for shikishi or being Drawn Into the Manga.
Additionally, if anyone is interested, we currently have one last Drawn Into the Manga pledge available. Please reach out to us directly if you would like to inquire about pledging.
As we get closer to the shipping date, we will be reaching out with exact costs. We will make sure to do so before anyone is charged. Also, no additional fees will be charged for digital rewards.
Lastly, our Pre-Order store is now open in Backerkit, so if you wish to add anything additional to your order, something you missed during the campaign, you will be able to do so there.

Hello everyone! I can hardly believe it. We are officially in the final 12 hours of the UNICO: AWAKENING campaign!
As another token of our gratitude for all of your incredible support, we will be giving away a digital wallpaper by the comics artist, Mayo “SEN” Naito, to anyone who has pledged for a Unico: Awakening manga, or more! The final version of the wallpaper is in progress, but here’s a teaser of what’s to come!
As we wind down, it’s hard for me to come up with adequate words for how thankful I am for all of you. With your help, we will be able to truly bring Unico to a new generation. Gurihiru and I are so excited about what the future has in store. We’ll make sure to keep you all updated every step of the way, and announce new developments as they emerge.
Post-campaign surveys will be sent out within the next week, so that you can make the selections for your rewards. We will be available to answer any questions that you may.
Additionally, if you’re looking for something new to look at in the Kickstarter world, check out the latest from Clover Press: The Golem of Venice Beach. I got my hands on an advanced copy of the book, and really found it fascinating. Jewish-Czech folklore meets Santa Muerte, in a high stakes, bloodsoaked drama about family, heritage, and the past coming back to haunt you. You can keep an eye out for it here.

皆さんの素晴らしい支援にさらなる感謝の気持ちを込めて、内藤真代／SEN先生によるデジタル壁紙を、マンガを支援して受け取る方(デジタル含む)全ての方にお送りします！ 現在この壁紙は制作中ですが、先行してスケッチをお見せします！
終わりも近くなり、皆さんへどのような言葉で感謝を伝えればよいか、適した言葉がなかなか思いつきません。皆さんが力を貸してくださったおかげでユニコを新たな世代へ送ることができます。グリヒルも私もユニコの未来のことを考えるとワクワクします。今後も何か動きがあった場合にはおしらせいたしますし、進捗状況も随時お伝えしたいと思います。
キャンペーン終了後、来週には連絡が行きますので、そこで支援したリワードの選択をお願いします。また何か質問があればお答えいたします。

Hey everyone! We are officially in the home stretch! With less than 48 hours to go in the UNICO: AWAKENING, we are approaching 2000 backers, and couldn’t be more grateful.
Here are a couple more highlights from the last week:
It’s no secret that I also enjoy promoting other Kickstarter campaigns going on at this moment. For today, we have a really great comics project to showcase by a brilliant artist, Ramón K Pérez. Here’s a little more info:

And since the campaign is coming to an end, I thought we might go out on a bang by featuring a couple more campaigns in the works.
One is the Madmaniverse Mod Metal lunch box.

Lastly, I would like to link to a campaign called Slightly Exaggerated. I think the art is gorgeous, so I thought you might, too.
Here’s a bit more info: Slightly Exaggerated is a story set in a whimsical fantasy world where a dying treasure hunter must steal back a sacred gem from a crazed cult leader in a strange whimsical world. It's set in an over the top whimsical fantasy world filled with flying sea creatures, talking animals and lots of other crazy, fun stuff! This setting makes for some really fun treasure hunting adventures. Think Indiana Jones/Uncharted meets a Studio Ghibli world. This story deals with a lot of deeper, mature subjects and themes like dying, leaving a legacy, religion and questioning what you've been told.
